Now celebrating its 74th year, FotoCraft is the oldest camera club in the Washington, D.C., crea. Organized in 1937, the club provides opportunity for fellowship, beneficial experiences, and community service through photography. As a camera club, it provides opportunities for learning basic photographic skills through instructions, practical darkroom work, and the regular sharing of practices to stimulate interest, progress, and achievement in the photographic arts.
Meetings are held at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church at 16th and Crittenden Sts., N.W., Washington, D.C., at 7:00pm, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, September through June, except for special field trips and workshops. FotoCraft was a member of the Greater Washington Council of Camera Clubs, and is affiliated with the Photographic Society of America.
